Business math bank

Today I built the bank. The bank stores money for people and pays them interest for every few months that the money is in the bank. It is a safer place to keep money than at home or the business. I built the back out of gold and diamond blocks, stone, and wool for carpet. The bank is located a short distance from the village. It is right next door to the grocery store.

Grocery store

Today I built the grocery store. Grocery stores help bring money into the city by selling food to the people in the village. I built 4 shelves inside, 2 on the left and 2 on the right. The pictures are of the outside, left and right sides of the store. The light I put at the center of the room is glowstone. I built the store out of oak wood planks.

Now in my business math city im building a village. The village is located at the center of the map. The village is made out of oak wood planks. I have already spawned two villagers. When I have enough buildings more villagers will spawn. The village gives the people who work in the city a place to live. People get money to pay for rent from their jobs in the city. People help the city by spending their money at the different stores.

I built two new guard tower buildings today. I also built an archery range. 

There are targets at 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 yards. It can bring money into the city by charging money to enter and to buy arrows.

I put different colored wool in between each target. there is dark green for 5, lime green for 10, yellow for 15, orange for 20, and red for 25. 

I changed the inside of the other buildings by adding a platform halfway up the room. There are beds on the bottom floor and the platforms so people can stay overnight.

Carvahall

This is a overhead pic of Carvahall. There is a butcher shop and a blacksmith at the top left. There are also a half dozen houses. You can see the road to Eragon's house at the top of the pic. The forest you see around the village is the Spine, that is where Eragon finds the Dragon egg.

This is the inside of the butcher shop. You can see that there is a pig in the pen in the back. This is where Eragon went to try to sell the egg.

business math city

I am building a city for my business math class. A city runs smoothly by having enough resources to survive on its own. Some businesses it should have are food stores, banks, and homes. What I did so far is build a wall around the city and build a guard tower. The guard tower is needed so it can protect the city. The police work on the guard tower to keep the city safe.

Eragon's Home

This is Eragon's home. He lived there with his Uncle Garrow. It was built 10 miles from Carvahall. I built it out of logs, planks, and cobblestone.

This is Eragon's room. You can see Saphira's egg on the wall. Saphira is a Dragon that hatches in the first 5 chapters.


I am going to be recreating all the major parts of the book, from Carvahall to the battle in Farthen Dur. What I will be working on next is the town of Carvahall.
